The Braves have battled to overcome all manner of obstacles this season, both on-field and off-field. They had a great showing against the Dodgers over the weekend, taking the final two games of the series and pulling back to within a game of .500 before hitting the road this week. The bullpen had the most heartening performance, shutting down a powerful Los Angeles offense on Saturday and Sunday.
Atlanta will look to carry that momentum into their upcoming series in Philadelphia, where a series victory would put them back at .500 and a series sweep would put them above. The Braves have struggled this season when trying to get over the hump, but hopefully a revitalized pitching staff and some timely hitting over the weekend will push Atlanta forward.
