If you were looking for good news to come out of the Braves’ game against the Dodgers on Friday evening, well...prepare for disappointment. The Braves got throttled due to a truly atrocious inning that had questionable managerial decisions, the complete inability to throw a strike, and defensive decision-making that can best be described as “bad”. A nightmare fifth inning was possibly the low point of the Braves’ season, as defensive issues, bases-loaded walks (yes, multiple), and some truly incomprehensible bullpen decisions doomed Atlanta against the Dodgers.
Braves acquire Ty Tice from the Blue Jays
Before the Braves’ game against the Dodgers, it was reported first by Kiley McDaniel that the Braves had acquired reliever Ty Tice from the Blue Jays who had been DFAed by Toronto. Tice doesn’t have much of a track record at all and is headed straight to Gwinnett, but hey...the Braves did something.
