The Atlanta Braves will try to snap a two-game losing skid Thursday afternoon when they wrap up a four-game series with the Washington Nationals. The Braves took the series opener on Memorial Day winning 5-3 but have since dropped two straight to fall to 25-28 on the season. Left-hander Tucker Davidson will make his second start of the season for the Braves while the Nationals will counter with lefty Patrick Corbin.

William Contreras returns to the Braves lineup Thursday after a rare day off. Ehire Adrianza will make another start in left field while Guillermo Heredia will be in center and hitting eighth.

For the Nationals, Kyle Schwarber will head to the bench with a knee issue. Josh Harrison will take Schwarber’s place in left with Jody Mercer getting the start at second. Ryan Zimmermann will be at first base and will hit cleanup.

First pitch for Thursday’s game is set for 12:20 p.m. ET from Truist Park and can be seen on Bally Sports South
