The Atlanta Braves will try to make it three straight wins Wednesday night when they wrap up a four-game series against the New York Mets. Kyle Wright will step into the rotation in place of the injured Max Fried on Wednesday. New York will counter with rookie right-hander Tylor Megill who will be making his major league debut.
Brian Snitker will stick with the same lineup for Wednesday’s series finale. Ender Inciarte will make his second straight start in center field and will hit eighth. Inciarte replaced Guillermo Heredia in the lineup Tuesday after Heredia was scratched late due to a wrist inflammation.
UPDATE - Ronald Acuña Jr. was scratched from Wednesday’s lineup due to lower back stiffness.
The Mets are contemplating a number of roster moves that could be completed prior to tonight’s game so their lineup is once again late. It looks like outfielder Michael Conforto will be added to the active roster and pitcher Corey Oswalt could be as well. Both Jonathan Villar and Tomas Nido had their MRIs come back clean and could be available off the bench tonight. We will add their lineup as soon as it is available.
UPDATE - Here is the Mets lineup.
