The Atlanta Braves will begin a big road trip Monday afternoon with a doubleheader against the New York Mets. Atlanta enters play Monday five games behind the Mets in the NL East standings. Brian Snitker announced this afternoon that Kyle Muller, who was added as the 27th man for the doubleheader, will get the start in Game 1 against arguably the best pitcher in the game Jacob deGrom. Ian Anderson will get the start in the second game.

The Braves will roll out their normal lineup for the opener with the exception of Kevan Smith who will be behind the plate and hit eighth.

Kevin Pillar gets the start in right field in the series opener. Tomas Nido will catch deGrom and hit eighth.
