The Braves enjoyed a much-needed off-day on Monday, licking their wounds after a dreadful trip to Dunedin. The Blue Jays seemingly crushed everything the Braves offered, which sadly continued the trend of Atlanta starting pitchers being hit hard in 2021. As of this writing, Braves starters own a 5.30 ERA (third-worst in baseball) and have allowed a league-worst 29 home runs. Some positive regression would benefit the Braves, but they will need major strides from the likes of Charlie Morton and Drew Smyly. Can the rotation pull it together before it’s too late?
