The Atlanta Braves will try to make it two straight wins Thursday night when they open a four-game series against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Drew Smyly will be on the mound for Atlanta while the Pirates will counter with right-hander Wil Crowe.

No surprises in the Braves’ lineup as Brian Snitker will roll with his regulars. Austin Riley sticks in the fifth spot in the order while Guillermo Heredia will be in center and hitting eighth.

This will be Atlanta’s first look at Crowe in a Pirates’ uniform. They saw limited opportunities last season while he was a member of the Nationals. Ronald Acuña Jr, Freddie Freeman and Marcell Ozuna are a combined 3-for-6 with two doubles and a homer against Crowe.

For the Pirates, Adam Frazier will lead off and play second while Bryan Reynolds will be in center field and hitting third. Frazier is hitting .325/.392/.458 with a 137 wRC+ in 41 games this season. Reynolds is hitting .290/.387/.455 with a 135 wRC+ in 40 games.

First pitch from Truist Park is scheduled for 7:20 p.m. ET and can be seen on Bally Sports Southeast.
