The Braves will take on the Nationals for the first game of a three game series over two days on Tuesday at 4:05 PM.

Drew Smyly will take the mound, facing off against Max Scherzer, in what will be Washington’s first game of the season after COVID-19 issues caused their scheduled opening series against the Mets to be postponed. The Nationals will be missing a number of players including Kyle Schwarber, Josh Harrison, Jon Lester, and Alex Avila, but likely including a number of other players. It will be interesting to see how Scherzer performs this season, after a number of ace level seasons but a less dominant season in 2020.

The game is set to start on Tuesday at 4:05 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on Bally Sports Southeast.
