The Atlanta Braves will play two Sunday as they wrap up a three-game series against the Arizona Diamondbacks with a doubleheader. Brian Snitker will roll out his regular lineup in the first game minus catcher Travis d’Arnaud. Alex Jackson caught Friday’s series opener as Snitker wanted to give d’Arnaud two straight off days to rest after he had started 15 of the team’s first 18 games. Jackson comes into Sunday’s game 1-for-13 at the plate with seven strikeouts.

The Braves also appointed catcher Willam Contreras as the 27th man for Sunday’s doubleheader. This will be Contreras’ first action at the big league level this season.

Pavin Smith moves back up into the lead off spot against the right-hander. Josh Van Meter gets the start at second base while Stephen Vogt will be behind the plate and hitting sixth.

Pitcher Riley Smith will serve as Arizona’s 27th man for the doubleheader.

Sunday’s doubleheader will get underway at 1:20 p.m. ET and can be seen on Bally Sports South.
