Both the Yankees and Braves decided that not much will change from last night in terms of the lineups. While New York made one adjustment to their outfield, the Braves have decided to keep things the same as Ronald Acuna Jr. will likely get another day of rest.
The Braves once again struggled last night, striking out 10 times in 31 at-bats. However, five of their six hits were produced by the first duo and last duo in the lineup. If the Braves can once again turn the lineup over with some success tonight, perhaps a big hit from the middle of the order can be the difference maker to earn a victory.
The Yankees made one adjustment, as Clint Frazier will get the start for Brent Gardner. Gio Urshela, the offensive star of last night’s game, will now bat behind Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton. Along with Gleyber Torres, limiting the success of the 2-5 guys in the Yankees order could be the key for Ian Anderson’s overall success. Obviously, that task is much easier said than done, though the Yankee’s offense has struggled overall this season.
