Freddie Freeman was one of 14 players that received qualifying offers before Sunday’s deadline. Each player will have until November 17 to decide whether to accept the one-year, $18.4 million offer or decline it and head into free agency with draft pick compensation attached.

Some notable free agents that did not receive qualifying offers include Clayton Kershaw, Steven Matz, Anthony DeSclafani, Carlos Rodon and Jon Gray.
As of 5 p.m. ET Sunday, the free agency period has opened and players are free to sign with any club.
