Talking Chop Podcast: Remembering Hank Aaron and Don Sutton

Its been a rough week for Braves fans to be sure.

MLB: Spring Training-New York Yankees at Atlanta Braves Brett Davis-USA TODAY Sports

No episode numbers or post-production shenanigans or anything like that today. As you are all well aware by now, Hank Aaron passed away earlier today. There is no way to truly convey how much of a loss that is for Braves Country and the world at-large. He was a giant, an icon, and a role model for generations of Atlanta sports fans. His story of how he became one of best players in the history of baseball facing down unspeakable racism and adversity is a story that we all can learn a lot from.

Brad and I took a bit of time around lunch today to get our thoughts down on not only the loss of Hank today, but also the loss of Don Sutton earlier in the week. While much of the focus will be on Hank’s passing, Sutton was an integral part of Braves history from the early 1990’s until now and will be sorely missed as well. We will be back to our usual hijinks soon, but for now...this is us remembering Hank Aaron and Don Sutton.
