The Braves remain idle, sitting back as outfield options sign elsewhere. The club has time to address their needs, but the availability of quality bats is becoming scarce. George Springer, who signed with the Blue Jays late Tuesday night, was seemingly never a possibility for Atlanta, but Michael Brantley certainly appeared to be a potential match. His re-signing in Houston on Wednesday took one of just a few viable options off the free agent market for the Braves. Will they be able to reunite with Marcell Ozuna? Possibly, but they are running out of time. They could also explore the trade market, but teams outside of San Diego have been hesitant to make trades this offseason. Options remain, but they are growing smaller by the day.
