Matt Adams starts at DH as Braves continue series against Phillies

Adam Duvall is out of Saturday’s lineup after exiting Friday’s game early due to a sore Achilles.

The Atlanta Braves will look to get back in the win column Saturday afternoon when they continue their series against the Philadelphia Phillies. Josh Tomlin will make his third start of the season for the Braves while the Phillies will counter with Zach Eflin.

Adam Duvall left Friday’s game with a sore right Achilles and is out of the Braves’ lineup on Saturday. Marcell Ozuna will start in left field with Matt Adams taking over at DH. Tyler Flowers gets the start behind the plate and will catch Tomlin.

Joe Girardi will slot in J.T. Realmuto at DH Saturday with Andrew Knapp getting the start behind the plate. Adam Haseley replaces Roman Quinn in center and will be hitting ninth.

First pitch from Citizens Bank Park is scheduled for 1:15 p.m. ET and the game will be regionally televised on FOX.
