Ian Anderson made a big splash with the Atlanta Braves at a time when they needed it the most. With their rotation in shambles, Atlanta turned to Anderson on August 26 where he made his debut out pitching Gerrit Cole in a win over the Yankees. He would emerge as the Braves No. 2 starter behind Max Fried and his success would carry over into the postseason where he allowed just 11 hits and two runs while striking out 24 batters in 18 2/3 innings.
Anderson was recently a guest on The Final Score podcast. Anderson talked about his rookie season with the Braves.

He also discussed the many challenges of playing baseball during the pandemic and the effect that Covid-19 has had on baseball. Anderson also talked about playing in a bubble and running into opposing teams like the Marlins and the Dodgers while in the playoffs. He also has some advice for any local players that are hoping to make it big.
It is a great interview and is definitely worth your time.
