New Braves catcher Travis d’Arnaud was in attendance for Saturday’s Chop Fest festivities and discussed coming to Atlanta and the upcoming season with 680 The Fan’s Kevin McAlpin. D’Arnaud talked about being familiar with the NL East from his time with the Mets and how pitch framing has changed the catcher position.
He also talked about how his brother, Chase d’Arnaud’s time in Atlanta helped influence his decision to sign with the Braves.
