The MLB Trade Deadline is just over a week away and many teams around the league are trying to determine whether they will be buyers or sellers at the deadline. Things are a little more clear cut for the Atlanta Braves who entered Friday night with a 5.5 game lead in the NL East division. That was the subject of this week’s FanPulse question which asked what should the Braves do at the trade deadline.
Unsurprisingly, 94 percent of our FanPulse voters said that Atlanta should be buyers at the deadline. Six percent said that Alex Anthopoulos should stand pat while no one voted that they should sell.
As for the rest of the voting results, confidence remains high among FanPulse voters. A season-best 98 percent of FanPulse voters are confident in the direction of the team. That is the fourth straight week that they have been at 96 percent or above. Additionally, fan approval of manager Brian Snitker dipped slightly from 87 percent last week to 86 percent this week. That is the seventh straight week that Snitker’s approval poll has been 83 percent or more.
That is it for this week. It will be interesting to see what the Braves do at the deadline and how that sways FanPulse voting.
