A red hot June has helped the Atlanta Braves surge to the top of the NL East standings with a 4.5 game lead over second place Philadelphia. Atlanta just split a four-game series in Chicago and will now head to New York to face the Mets over the weekend to wrap up their road trip.
The Braves have gone 18-7 in June and that has helped confidence in the direction of the team to rise to a season-high number. Our FanPulse voting results for Week 14 of the season shows that 97 percent of fans voting are confident in the direction of the team. That is up from 93 percent last week which was also a season-high.
Additionally, Brian Snitker’s approval rating has been on the rise as well. Snitker achieved an 88 percent approval rating from FanPulse voters this week up from 83 percent last week and is his highest number since opening the season at 92 percent.
This week’s national question hits home given that the Braves recently moved into a new stadium that was in large part funded with tax payer’s money. Ninety one percent of FanPulse voters say that team owners should be on the hook to pay for new stadiums.
Additionally, 76 percent of voters said they would not soften their stance if it meant a new stadium for their favorite team.
