Per report, Braves could roll with Adam Duvall as third outfielder
The Braves acquired Adam Duvall last July, and quickly found that he was not the answer to their need for a right-handed outfield option to spell Ender Inciarte against lefties. Now, despite his immense struggles a season ago, Duvall is being considered an Opening Day starter if the Braves go with their current roster. It remains to be seen whether the club actually stands by that claim or if they are simply posturing before making an acquisition, but given the track record of GM Alex Anthopoulos it does seem unlikely that any leaks would come without a motive.
