Just in case you thought a stormy Thursday would continue to deliver offseason doldrums, the boys in blue in Los Angeles have decided to shake things up. A.J. Pollock signed a pretty sizable deal to move to a former division rival; there’s rumors floating around that they may be working on bringing over J.T. Realmuto as well.
The Cubs signed former Brave Brad Brach.
And, my favorite move of the day so far: Oliver Drake actually managed not to change organizations again today, being outrighted to the Rays’ Triple-A team and accepting his assignment. Drake has become an offseason curiosity of mine, because, well...
