We’re getting closer and closer to Game 2 of today’s doubleheader between the Braves and Nationals, which means that the lineups are out. Naturally, there are going to be some changes in each lineup for the tail end of a doubleheader, as you’ll see below.
Here’s Atlanta’s lineup:
This lineup is more like what you’d normally see from the Braves at this point of the season. Ronald Acuña Jr. is back at the top of the lineup and and everything else is what we’re used to seeing — everything except for Ozzie Albies taking a seat on the bench for the nightcap, as Charlie Culberson will be playing second base and he’ll be batting second in the lineup as well.
Meanwhile, here’s Washington’s lineup:
When I was talking about changes, I was just talking about Atlanta. The Nationals are running with basically the same lineup they used this afternoon, with the exception being Matt Wieters playing catcher instead of Spencer Kieboom. Still, they scored eight runs earlier today so can you blame them for sticking with a good thing?
Anyways, what do you all think of the lineups for tonight?
