For those of you that are unaware that the Braves are chasing their first playoff berth since 2013 and are already looking forward to Spring Training next year, good news! The Braves have released their 2019 Spring Training schedule, which you can access here:

Key dates and happenings:

  • Grapefruit League action for the Braves officially kicks off on February 23. Their first home game is February 25. Their last game in Orlando is March 23; they won’t be returning.
  • The Braves play split-squad games just twice: March 6 and March 17.
  • On Sunday, March 24, the Braves will face the Rays at their future Spring Training home in North Port, FL.
  • Right after that, they’ll head up to SunTrust Park to end the exhibition season with two games against the Reds.

As a reminder, the regular season begins for Atlanta on Thursday, March 28 in Philadelphia.

As is usually the case, the Braves will play an unbalanced Grapefruit League schedule that involves six games against the Tigers, four games against the Marlins, three games each against the Mets, Astros, and Nationals, and then one or two games against eight other teams (Cardinals, Blue Jays, Yankees, Rays, Reds twice; Phillies, Pirates and Red Sox once).
