Congratulations are due to Bryse Wilson, who will make his MLB debut tonight against the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Wilson’s call up was a surprise move by the big league club, but was certainly warranted. In his last Minor League start, he went 8 innings, allowing 1 hit while striking out 13 and allowing no walks - not bad for a 20-year-old who started the season in High-A. His call-up signals that the Braves will to turn to a six-man rotation over the last six weeks of the season.

He has no small task tonight, facing the Pirates’ recently acquired Chris Archer. Archer has scuffled a bit with his new club, but is coming off a strong outing against the Twins.
