Wednesday night’s fireworks thankfully did not create a long-term injury for Ronald Acuña and the Atlanta Braves will open a four-game set against the Colorado Rockies on Thursday evening. While most expected the mega-talented youngster to rest for at least one game, the Braves announced the lineup for the series opener and Acuña was in his familiar lead-off spot.

It is unquestionably positive to see Acuña in the lineup, as the Braves almost certainly would not feel comfortable risking any sort of set-back with a player of his youth and stature. In a vacuum, it might feel wise to give him an extra day but, alas, here we are.
Elsewhere, Johan Camargo returns to the lineup at third base after a day off on Wednesday and Kurt Suzuki is in the lineup at catcher.
In opposition, the Rockies will send the following lineup to the plate against Braves starter Julio Teheran.
