Atlanta begins the second half in D.C.

The Braves will begin a series in Washington tonight that could shape the rest of the season as both sides send their best matchups to the mound and their hitters well rested at full strength for what promises to be a strong series.

(I’m so sorry, but the pun opportunities were there and it forced my hand.)

Ohtani is slowly making his way back to pitching

Shohei Ohtani is set to begin a rehab throwing program that will hopefully have him back on the mound soon for the Angels. The stud right hander is still DH-ing for the Los Angeles club but they would assuredly love to get him back on the mound ASAP.
