Mark Bowman of MLB.com is reporting that third baseman Jose Bautista is expected to join the club at home tonight after playing several games in the minor leagues with high A Florida and AAA Gwinnett.
Jose Bautista is expected to join the Braves' lineup tonight. Bautista went 6-for-15 with a double and a homer over the past four games with Gwinnett.

Bautista has really been heating up lately and will join the big league squad just in time for their series with the San Francisco Giants. Bautista is a former home run champ and overall has hit 331 of them in his career giving the Braves another power boost in the lineup.
At 37-years-old Bautista now becomes the elder statesman of the position players and second oldest on the team overall to Peter Moylan who is 39.
Bautista did not have a fantastic 2017 as he hit .203/.308/.366 and had a wRC+ of just 80 but the Braves are going to see what he has left in the tank at a new position and in a new venue. Stay tuned for more updates.
