Atlanta pounds out 16 hits and nine runs in win over Marlins

Freddie Freeman and Ozzie Albies had big games at the plate while Mike Foltynewicz took care of things on the mound as the Atlanta Braves handed the Miami Marlins a 9-2 loss.

The Braves busted the game wide open with a 7-run sixth inning. Ozzie Albies connected for his first career grand slam which put Atlanta in front 5-1. Albies finished the evening 2-for-6 with five RBI.

Freddie Freeman came to the plate two batters later and connected for his sixth home run of the year to blow the game wide open. Freeman was a flawless 5-for-5 in the game giving him the first 5-hit effort of his career.
