A two homer night from Odubel Herrera was more than the Atlanta Braves could overcome in a 7-3 loss to the Phillies. Ronald Acuña Jr. finished with two hits including an RBI double but Julio Teheran exited early and Atlanta’s bullpen struggled again.

Teheran exited after just three innings and just 43 pitches. He allowed three runs in the first but never seemed quite right. He exited with what was described as right upper trap tightness. He told reporters after the game that he experienced some soreness while warming up but thought he could pitch through it.
Braves activate Flowers, recall Whitley, option Wisler, DFA Perez
The Braves made a couple of roster moves on Friday activating catcher Tyler Flowers from the disabled list and recalling reliever Chase Whitley. To make room on the active roster, the team optioned Matt Wisler to Triple-A and designated catcher Carlos Perez for assignment.
