Preston Tucker keys Braves in 5-3 win over Phillies
Preston Tucker had a double and a two-run home run as the Atlanta Braves knocked off the Philadelphia Phillies 5-3 in Grapefruit League action Wednesday.
Healthy Tucker continues strong spring
The Braves acquired Tucker from the Astros this offseason. He is healthy and has had an impressive spring going 12-for-33 at the plate with four doubles and a home run. He credits a great offseason as one of the reasons he has found success.
“This was the best offseason I think I’ve ever had,” Tucker said. “I wasn’t up [with Houston] in September, so I had the whole offseason to get stronger. This is the best my body has ever felt.”
