John Coppolella has reportedly resigned his position amid reports of a pending MLB investigation into circumvention of IFA signing rules.
The Braves have confirmed the resignation of John Coppolella. President of Baseball Operations John Hart will assume the role of acting GM for now.

The Braves will now go under investigation for violation of international signing rules and possibly face punishment if proved guilty.
Gordon Blakeley, Special Assistant to the GM, has also resigned his role as the Braves go under MLB investigation.
John Hart, former GM of the Cleveland Indians and current President of Baseball Operations for the Braves, will assume the role of acting GM of the Braves for now.
