Austin Riley Joins Braves Teammates With Hot AFL Start
Several Braves prospects have gotten off to hot starts in the Arizona Fall League. It was Austin Riley’s turn on Thursday going 3-for-5 with a long home run. Baseball America’s Josh Norris talked to Riley about how he has improved his approach at the plate.
“I’m gradually figuring out my swing and figuring out my approach against pitchers,” Riley said. “I think that played a big part in (his successful season).”
Ender Inciarte and Julio Teheran land on Sporting News list
The Sporting News counted down the best baseball players who are 26 or younger in the league. Atlanta’s Julio Teheran checked in at No. 45 while Ender Inciarte made the list at No. 31.
