FanDuel Fantasy Baseball Picks: June 6

Don't want to wait until 10 pm ET for baseball action? You don't have to.

David Banks-USA TODAY Sports

It was a rough weekend for the Atlanta Braves in Los Angeles, and the team remains on the west coast for another series to begin the week. For those with early morning obligations, it may be untenable to watch an entire baseball game that begins at 10:10 pm ET, and we have a way to quench your baseball thirst.

SB Nation and FanDuel continue to partner on daily fantasy baseball, and we will bring you regularly scheduled lineup recommendations throughout the 2016 season. On this fine Monday, we will tackle the "main" slate and see what happens.

Editor's Note: New players win cash in their first league or get their entry fee refunded! Offered in partnership with FanDuel.

Let's ride.

Note: This lineup would be used in today's 7:05 pm ET "main" contest.

P - Jon Lester ($11,000)

C - David Ross ($2,200)

1B - Eric Hosmer ($3,600)

2B - Rougned Odor ($2,900)

3B - Kris Bryant ($3,900)

SS - Javier Baez ($2,600)

OF - Adam Jones ($3,400)

OF - Nomar Mazara ($3,000)

OF - Desmond Jennings ($2,300)

It isn't exactly unconventional to take the highest-priced pitcher on the board, but I love Lester's match-up. The left-hander faces the Phillies, and even on the road, it is a better spot than his counterparts (i.e. Steven Matz) at the top of the price sheet. Lester's upside isn't that high, but he's pretty safe here, especially when considering Chicago's offense and the ability to grab points with a pitcher win.

Speaking of the Cubs and their offense, I'm rolling with Bryant, Baez and old pal David Ross in a mini-stack. All three will be hitting right-handed against Adam Morgan, and I'll take that every time. Elsewhere, the other big buys are Hosmer (against a right-hander) and Jones (against a left-hander), with a high-upside play on a power hitter like Mazara. Close things out with a bargain price on Odor and a platoon-rich spot for Jennings and I like our chances.

Good luck out there.
