Can the Braves stay hot?

Adam Hunger-USA TODAY Sports

Aaron Blair takes the ball for the Atlanta Braves on Friday night, and he will be looking to help the team sustain what has been its hottest streak of the season. The Braves have won seven of their past eight games behind strong pitching and rejuvenated offense, and on this night, Atlanta will aiming to take command of a four-game set against the New York Mets.

Blair's pitching is always something to monitor, but on Friday, the offense is the bigger concern. Steven Matz, New York's young left-hander, presents a real challenge for Atlanta's bats, and that is the backdrop of the night at Turner Field.

Let's get to the lineups, and stay tuned to this space throughout the evening.
