MLB: Atlanta Braves at New York Mets Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports

The Atlanta Braves look to make it seven wins on a row on Wednesday when they wrap up a brief two-game series against the Miami Marlins.

Atlanta outlasted Miami 3-2 in 10 innings on Tuesday behind a strong performance at the plate from Jace Peterson and some good bullpen work. Now they will look to record their second straight series sweep before returning home to face the Mets.

John Gant will make his third career start for the Braves on Wednesday and will be looking to build on his most recent outing. Gant allowed just two hits and one run over 6 2/3 innings in a win over New York in his last start to earn his first Major League win. He has allowed just three earned runs in 11 innings as a starter for Atlanta.

The Marlins will counter with lefty Adam Conley who is 3-4 this season with a 3.94 ERA. Conley was superb as well last time out allowing one hit and one run in 5 2/3 innings against he Colorado Rockies. That followed a stretch of where he had allowed eight earned runs over a span of 11 2/3 innings. Conley’s last win came on May 16 against the Phillies.
