Can the Braves even the series? Join us here.

Denny Medley-USA TODAY Sports

At 8-26, the Atlanta Braves aren't exactly inspiring a ton of confidence right now, but they just might have the pitching advantage on Saturday night in Kansas City. The Royals send former Mets "legend" Dillon Gee to the mound, and while Mike Foltynewicz has been spotty at times, the young right-hander was lights-out in his last start.

It would certainly be nice to preemptively avoid a sweep at the hands of the defending World Series champions, and the Braves can get on the board with a victory on Saturday. It is certainly a familiar tale, but the offense must generate something in what is a favorable match-up against Gee, and that would also ease the pressure on Folty in this spot.

Here are tonight's lineups, and let's do this together.
