Surprisingly enough, Philadelphia has gotten out to an 18-14 start, despite being the second worst offense in the league so far. Only the Braves rank worse in average, scoring, and OPS. Thanks to an unreal 11-3 record in one-run games, the Phillies have used solid pitching to squeeze out wins, placing themselves third in the NL East at 2.5 games back on the Mets.
Matt Wisler will take the mound on Tuesday night against Philadelphia. He'll look to keep up his strong pitching after a eight innings of one-hit baseball against the Mets last week -- the last time the Braves won. Wisler has pitched well, sporting a 3.24 ERA and .175 batting average against.
His counterpart will be Adam Morgan. Morgan has a 6.00 ERA and has yet to earn a decision in his three starts. He was 0-3 against the Braves last season.
The Braves will be looking for their first series win at home on the season. Atlanta has lost 10 consecutive games at Turner Field to run the home record to 1-15. After the series with the Phillies, the Braves won't be back home until May 24 against the Brewers.
