On the 11th episode of the Talking Chop Podcast, Brad and myself are joined by 92.9 The Game Reporter Grant McAuley, who gives us all sorts of insider information about this Atlanta Braves team.

We start off by asking Grant his opinions on the rebuild and when he expects the team to be competitive again, but quickly jump into a conversation about Aaron Blair and Mike Foltynewicz. One of those pitchers will likely be starting tomorrow for the Braves, and Grant lays out his reasoning for Blair to be the guy who is called.

We then discuss the merits of both pitchers and Grant gives us a few stories from Spring Training and his experiences so far with the two players.

After that we touch on the struggles of Bud Norris, discuss the lack of power the team has had this season which leads to a conversation about Freddie Freeman and Nick Markakis. Finally we discuss lineup possibilities and the woeful defense that Adonis Garcia has provided the team at the hot corner.

As always, you can find the podcast via the iTunes Store or through our SoundCloud page. In addition, be sure to follow Grant's show, "Around the Big Leagues" and of course follow him on twitter if you don't already.

We hope you enjoy, this was a fun and insightful show to do:
