Julio Teheran and a pretty underhwelming lineup will be taking the field today as the Braves attempt to avoid a four-game sweep at the hands of the Washingotn Nationals.

History is beckoning our Atlanta Braves, and it's the bad kind of history. They are two losses away from matching the 1988 Braves' 0-10 start, and if they lose and the Minnesota Twins also lose, then we'll have a pair of teams starting 0-9 for the first time since 1988 and only the third time since 1884. Is that enough history for you? No? Well, here's some more! The Braves currently have a 13-game losing streak at Nationals Park, which is the franchise's longest losing streak at any ballpark since they lost 13 straight at good old Ebbets Field. So yes, the Braves are some kind of bad right now.

Here's the lineup that the Braves will send out to face Stephen Strasburg and the Nats.

Today's Lineups

ATLANTA BRAVES WASHINGTON NATIONALS
Mallex Smith - CF Chris Heisey - LF
Nick Markakis - RF Anthony Rendon - 3B
Adonis Garcia - 3B Bryce Harper - RF

Gordon Beckham - 2B Wilson Ramos - C
Erick Aybar - SS Matt den Dekker - CF

Julio Teheran - RHP Stephen Strasburg - RHP

Hoo boy.

Also, here's further data on Strasburg so far in the early stages of this season.
