Braves outfielder Hector Olivera has posted $10,000 bond and is now out of jail and headed to the airport according to ABC7news reporter Jeff Goldberg.

Olivera was charged with one misdemeanor count of assault & battery for allegedly striking a female victim early this morning. Olivera was placed on administrative leave and Major League Baseball has begun an investigation into the incident. Per the MLB's domestic violence policy, a player accused of domestic violence can be placed on administrative leave for up to seven days while an investigation is conducted.

Yankees closer Aroldis Chapman is currently serving a 30-game suspension under the policy while Rockies shortstop Jose Reyes is currently awaiting word on his suspension.
