The Atlanta Braves look to bounce back on Sunday and avoid a winless home stand to start the season when they wrap up a three-game set against the St. Louis Cardinals.
The Braves were stung by suspect pitching and more shaky defense in a 12-2 loss on Saturday. Julio Teheran lasted just four innings on the mound while the Braves committed three more errors in the field. They will need to clean that up if they hope to pull out their first win of the season on Sunday against Cardinals ace Adam Wainwright.
Wainwright struggled a bit with his command in an opening day loss to the Pirates. He is 4-1 in his career at Turner Field with a 2.25 ERA. Willams Perez will make his fist start of the season for the Braves and will look to build on a solid spring.
