The Atlanta Braves are reportedly adding another veteran to their bullpen mix as they prepare to head to spring training. Bill Shanks reports that the Braves have agreed to terms with former Mets reliever Carlos Torres to a minor-league deal that includes an invite to spring training.

Torres began his career in 2009 as a member of the Chicago White Sox. He spent the last three seasons with the New York Mets. Torres appeared in 59 games for the Mets last season and went 5-6 with a 4.68 ERA in 57.2 innings.

Torres joins a growing mix of veteran players that are coming to camp with the Braves to try and earn a spot in the team's bullpen. Pitchers and catchers report to Disney on February 19 with the first workout scheduled for February 20.
