The Atlanta Braves managed just three hits on Sunday as Shelby Miller's winless streak reaches 15 games with a 4-1 loss to the Marlins.

After scoring a combined 22 runs in the first three games of the series, Atlanta's offense came crashing back to earth in a 4-1 loss Sunday afternoon to the Miami Marlins.

Miami's Brad Hand was the story on Sunday as he was in control from the outset. Hand allowed one run and just two hits over seven strong innings. He also executed at the plate laying down a pair of perfectly executed sacrifice bunts that scored a pair of runs. Christian Yelich finished with three hits for the Marlins while Dee Gordon and Cole Gillespie finished with two each.

The Braves only run came off the bat of Jonny Gomes who launched a hanging breaking ball from Hand over the fence in left in the seventh inning. Jace Peterson and Shelby Miller accounted for the other two Braves' hits in the game. Nick Markakis and A.J. Pierzynski both went 0-for-4 ending their hitting streaks at 15 and 13 games respectively.

Miller struggled a bit early with his command, but was able to keep Atlanta within striking distance allowing two runs and five hits in five innings of work. Miller has allowed two runs or less in 18 of his 23 starts this season, but has little to show for it.

Despite the loss, Atlanta still wins the series 3-1 and will now enjoy an off day on Monday before heading to Tampa for a two game set against the Rays.
