It's baseball season, but the Braves aren't playing today. What type of nonsense is this?!

Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports

Today is one of the worst days you can possibly have during the regular season. There's baseball going on, but none of it involves the Braves! They don't play until tomorrow evening, but until then, we're here to try to bridge the painful gap between now and then. Now, how are we going to go about doing this? Well, we've decided to have an open thread for you guys to come and hang out in on this dreadful off-day.

So, do you want to talk about how Freddie Freeman currently raking? We can do that. Would you like to talk about Markakis doing a fine job in the leadoff spot? That's cool as well. Wanna talk about how we're seriously talking about the Braves offense being decent and not a dumpster fire like we all figured they would be? That's definitely up for discussion as well.

We can also talk about the rest of the baseball world as well. There's already been four games played today, and there's a game underway in Kansas City as you read this. In addition, there's going to be six games played tonight. So yeah, there's plenty of baseball going on. You like baseball, right? We like baseball, too. So, fire up that MLB.TV and let's talk baseball!

To set the mood right, here's a couple of videos. The first one is Freddie Freeman and Julio Teheran (among others) doing cool stuff, The next one is Dodgers catcher Yasmani Grandal going off for eight (8!) RBI today. As you can see, it's all happening today; Everything except for real-life Braves baseball. Oh well. I guess the other stuff will have to do for now.
