The Atlanta Braves continue to juggle their bullpen as they optioned Michael Kohn to Triple-A Gwinnett on Wednesday and called up reliever Williams Perez.

Kohn appeared in six games for the Braves but struggled with his command walking six batters in just 4 2/3 innings. He will head back to the minors to work on his control. Perez is 23 and will be making his major league debut. He started five games at Gwinnett and is 2-0 with a 1.33 ERA in 27 innings. He walked nine batters while striking out 21.
This move is the latest in a series of moves for the Braves bullpen. Atlanta designated Donnie Veal for assignment on Tuesday and recalled Brandon Cunniff. The Braves are hoping that Veal passes through waivers and ends up back at Gwinnett.
