The game between Gwinnett and Lehigh Valley was suspended in the second inning on Monday and will be resumed on Tuesday with the Braves leading 1-0. Chris Johnson began his rehab assignment and lined out to centerfield in his only at-bat.

Mississippi saw a 3-1 lead slip away in a 5-3 loss to the Jacksonville Suns. The Braves scored three in the fifth with the first coming via a throwing error by Jacksonville's Chipper Smith to tie the game 1-1. Mallex Smith then followed with a bunt single to make the score 2-1 and Seth Loman delivered an RBI hit later in the inning to make the score 3-1. Victor Mateo couldn't hold the lead however as Jacksonville added a pair of runs in the fifth to tie the game. Mateo allowed three runs and six hits over five innings but walked five batters. The Suns added single runs in the seventh and eighth innings to take the victory.

Joseph Odom put the Carolina Mudcats up early with his first home run of the season in the second inning. Starter Blair Walters was in control for much of the evening before running into trouble in the seventh. Walters walked Jack Lopez to start the inning and the allowed a single to Robert Pehl. He exited the game with runners at the corners and no one out. He was replaced by Mike Nesseth who got Frank Schwindel to fly out to right for the first out of the inning. Logan Moon then bunted home Lopez to tie the game before Cam Gallagher homered to make the score 3-1. Wilmington would add another run on an RBI single by Santiago Nessy and plated an insurance run in the eighth.

Joey Terdoslavich began a rehab assignment with the Rome Braves on Monday going 2-4 with a double in a 4-2 win over Charleston. Terdoslavich doubled and scored in Rome's two-run first inning. Rome added another run in the fifth on a sacrifice fly by Jordan Edgerton that scored Ozhaino Albies. Max Povse had a good outing on the mound striking out eight in just five innings of work. His only blemish came in the fifth when he walked Vicente Conde with one out and Jorge Mateo followed with an inside-the-park home run. Povse battled back to escape the inning and left with a 3-2 lead. The Braves tacked on another run in the ninth to win 4-2.
