The injury woes for Mike Minor just continue to roll on. After experiencing a setback in his recovery from left shoulder inflammation, the Braves were hopeful that Minor would be able to make his 2015 debut sometime during May. After today's news, it's clear that Minor definitely won't be returning to action in May, and it'll probably be a long time before we see Mike Minor in any type of action, as the Braves have officially placed the lefty on the 60-day DL.
Additionally, the President of Baseball Operations had this to say about a timetable for Minor's return:
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-partner="tweetdeck"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">John Hart on Mike Minor: "we dont see him coming back anytime soon." <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Braves?src=hash">#Braves</a></p>— Kevin McAlpin (@KevinMcAlpin) <a href="https://twitter.com/KevinMcAlpin/status/594610147244253185">May 2, 2015</a></blockquote>

Yeah, that's about as bleak as it gets. Normally the quotes we get from John Hart can be ticked off as GM-speak, but considering Minor's recent injury history, we can probably take Hart at his word here.
Judging by the moves that were made today and as of late, the Braves were probably well-prepared and aware of this possibility that has now turned into reality. It'll probably be a long time before we see Mike Minor pitch again, and you have to wonder whether or not we'll see the 2013 version of Minor again when/if he makes his return.
