After Folty Friday was a success (that's the last time I'm going to bring it up, I swear), it's time for another edition of "Today is a day that starts with the same letter as the Braves' starting pitcher's last name!" This time we've got Stults Saturday on hand, as Eric Stults is tonight's starter for the Braves as they attempt to get a winning streak going.
In all seriousness, this pitching matchup is the exact opposite of what we saw on Friday night. Instead of seeing two young hurlers duking it out, we've got two seasoned veterans taking the hill for the Braves and Reds tonight. Jason Marquis may have some gaudy stats when it comes to his ERA, FIP, and HR/FB% so far, but he's also coming off of a solid eight inning start against the Brewers. Granted, Milwaukee is a dumpster fire right now, but that's still proof that Marquis can get it dones mon the mound against Major League pitching, so the Braves will still have to work for what they get tonight.
