The bats fell silent for the Mississippi Braves on Sunday in a 2-0 loss to Biloxi. The Braves managed just four hits on the afternoon and wasted a good performance on the mound by Victor Mateo who allowed just three hits and one earned run in seven innings of work.

A rough day at the office for the Rome Braves as they allow seven runs in the third and the fifth innings in a 14-4 loss to Greensboro. Daniel Cordero didn't make it out of the third inning before allowing eight hits and seven runs. Felix Marte didn't fair much better allowing five earned runs in less than two innings of relief. Ozhaino Albies remained hot with three more hits to raise his average to .301. Jordan Edgerton went 2-for-4 with a pair of RBIs.
