Braves third baseman Chris Johnson is expected to miss 3-6 weeks with a fractured hand and multiple bone bruises. The interesting part of the story was that an MRI exam on Friday revealed that the fracture was pre-existing according to MLB.com's Mark Bowman.

Johnson was injured in Thursday's series opener on a stolen base attempt. He left the game and was placed on the disabled list immediately following the game.
Johnson has appeared in 16 games this season and is hitting .279 with a .347 on-base percentage in 49 plate appearances. He has yet to homer this season but has four doubles and five RBIs.
