Mike Minor has not yet begun to throw from a mound which may leave the Atlanta Braves with a difficult decision to make by the non-tender deadline on December 2.

Minor is still recovering from shoulder surgery that cost him the entire 2015 season. Indications had been that the Braves were interested in bringing him back, but may be forced to non-tender him simply due to the questions remaining in regards to his health.
Minor was a first round pick for the Braves in the 2009 draft. He went 13-9 with a 3.21 ERA in 2013 but fell off the cliff in 2014 when his ERA ballooned to 4.77. MRI exams on Minor's shoulder initially showed inflammation, but he soon opted for surgery when his condition didn't improve.
